Event: The Country with your future. Organized by El País, Grupo PRISA. 2018.
This event is aimed at all those who are a few months away from having to choose which career to study in order to carve out a profession and a future. During the two days that the event lasted, professionals from different disciplines came to share our experience, our journey and help, as far as possible, to make the decision more bearable.
In this talk, I talked about the evolution that the project manager profession is having and gave guidelines about the tasks and responsibilities that these professionals have.
The success rates of the projects carried out in companies are very low. We need to professionalize project management to stop throwing money away.
The criteria to measure the success of a project are evolving and now include the much needed ones: customer satisfaction and adaptation of the final result to the user / consumer.
To properly carry out the work of project manager we must be clear about what a project manager does and does not do in their day to day. It may seem obvious, but I have seen many mistakes made in this regard in many organizations.
